All the pictures on this page were taken with the Nikon D700 digital SLR and Nikkor 14-24mm F/2.8 lens. I forgot my tripod in San Francisco so I had to shoot all these shots handheld using a high ISO and the great light gathering power of the D700.  I was only staying a single night in Las Vegas because I was traveling to the Grand Canyon in Arizona the next day.  I started snapping these pics on Wednesday night at 10pm and finished around 3:30am on Thursday morning.  The car in the 8th photo was a yellow Corvette which I rented for the trip.
